Post Gad contrast enhanced axial images posterior to the L4 vertebra shows an enhancing soft tissue lesion with a central non-enhancing center (the bull's eye sign). This lesion is seen to indent the left lateral aspect of the thecal sac and the traversing L4 nerve root.
